Our Australian registered doctors conduct an assessment and send the medical certificate directly to your email. Please note, we will certify a maximum of 3 days unfit to work. It is important that if you need more than a few days off work, you should see your own doctor face to face. It's important to note that telehealth appointments are not intended for emergency care. If you are experiencing a life-threatening condition or severe symptoms, it is important to seek medical attention at an emergency department or by calling 000.
Your telehealth consultation will require you to be in a quiet place, with a stable quality internet connection. A list of any medication you are taking and clinics or doctors you have recently visited as well as certificates previously obtained.
Telehealth appointments are also not suitable for all medical conditions. If you have a complex or chronic condition that requires a physical examination, it is likely that you will need to visit your own GP in person. However, for many common conditions, such as the flu, a telehealth appointment may be sufficient.
