ADHD, behaviour and developmental

We can assess behavioural and developmental delay in children. Development and behavioural paediatrics assessment can involve OT's, speech pathologists, allied health and others. A referral from your own GP is preferred but not essential. This assessment is complex and will likely be a higher fee.

Child doctor near me?

Your children's health is our primary concern, and telehealth is sometimes not enough. If your child is unwell and can't be adequately assessed and treated on the video call, an in-person appointment may be required. If a face-to-face appointment is thought to be necessary, we will provide a referral to a local paediatrician or emergency department.

What to look out for when your child is sick

You can tell if your child has a fever by checking the temperature with a thermometer, feeling for warmth, or listening for rapid breathing. You may also notice that your child's skin feels warm and dry to touch. In younger children, parents may notice decreased activity level, loss of appetite, vomiting or diarrhea. Older kids might complain about pain all over or have trouble sleeping. Kids under two years old who get fevers often don't show other symptoms until later in the illness so it's important to talk to a doctor early.
