See a Rheumatologist in 14 Days — Australia-Wide Telehealth

Dr Sonam Joshi provides video consultations for adults across Australia experiencing symptoms of rheumatic, autoimmune, and musculoskeletal conditions. You can access specialist care from home through Docto’s telehealth platform. If a referral is required, we can assist in arranging one as part of your booking.

What Does a Rheumatologist Treat?

Rheumatologists specialise in diagnosing and managing conditions that affect the joints, bones, muscles, and immune system. These include:

  • Rheumatoid Arthritis – an autoimmune disease causing joint pain, stiffness, and swelling
  • Psoriatic Arthritis – joint inflammation that can occur with psoriasis
  • Lupus (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus) – a chronic autoimmune condition affecting multiple organs and systems
  • Gout – a painful form of arthritis caused by uric acid crystal buildup, often in the big toe or other joints
  • Ankylosing Spondylitis – a form of inflammatory arthritis primarily affecting the spine and sacroiliac joints
  • Vasculitis – inflammation of blood vessels, which may affect organ function
  • Osteoarthritis – degenerative joint disease common in older adults
  • Connective Tissue Disorders – such as scleroderma and Sjögren’s syndrome
  • Undifferentiated Inflammatory Arthritis – symptoms that may not yet meet criteria for a specific condition
  • If you are experiencing persistent joint pain, fatigue, unexplained inflammation, or symptoms suggestive of an autoimmune condition, a consultation with a rheumatologist may assist with assessment and management.
