Dr Victor Chen



Dr Victor Chen completed his medical degree in Otago, NZ 1995 including an intercalated year of research for BMedSc with the Otago Bioethics Research Centre and Philosophy Department 1992.

He completed three years of Cardiology Advanced Training in Queensland at Gold Coast and Prince Charles Hospital 2002–2004; then an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, USA with Professor Samin Sharma in a high volume 24/7 cath lab encompassing STEMI on-call, coronary, peripheral, and structural heart interventions.

He worked at Dunedin Hospital, University of Otago as full time Interventional Cardiologist and Senior Clinical Lecturer in Medicine, Director of Physician Training for the RACP and now works practices on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
