Dr Ben Hunt
Dr Ben Hunt is a Cardiac Electrophysiologist, which means he is a cardiologist who specialises in disorders of the heart’s rhythm.
He attended the University of Queensland where he completed a BSc in 1997 and subsequently his MBBS in 2002. He the underwent cardiology training at the Princess Alexandra and Prince Charles Hospitals becoming a cardiologist in 2009 then traveling to Canada to undertake a further 2 years of sub-specialty training in cardiac electrophysiology at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary. Ben’s interests include all aspects of diagnosing and treating heart rhythm problems. He implants and manages pacemakers and implantable defibrillators, and ablates arrhythmias such as SVT, atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia.
